Bristol Rovers have had a good start to the League One season, but manager Graham Coughlan will want his side to avoid any complacency as they head into the second half of the season.

The Irishman will be analysing the transfer market carefully for any hidden gems, and here are four players that Bristol Rovers should consider a move for in January...

Adams has been one of the more consistent performers for Forest Green Rovers this season.

While it may prove difficult to prise him away from The New Lawn, he would definitely add something to the central midfield for the Pirates.

The 23-year-old right-back for Crewe Alexandra has been a consistent regular for the League Two side across the past three seasons, and he would be a good addition to the Rovers ranks.

Ng has the ability going forward as well as being able to defend to suit Coughlan's 3-5-2 system.

21-year-old Irish centre-back Liam Scales was linked with a move to Bristol Rovers in the summer, however Coughlan decided to put the move on hold.

The UCD defender would be a good addition to Rovers as he could slot into their back three with ease, having all the attributes to be a good signing.

Despite being 31, Law could be a good signing for Rovers from League Two side Exeter City.

The former Rangers midfielder was been a crucial part of the Grecians side since signing for them in 2018, and his attacking threat from midfield could be enough to persuade Coughlan into making a surprise move.
