Bristol City have had a positive transfer window which has created an excited, optimistic buzz among supporters ahead of the new season.
Bristol City fans have been used to the traditional relegation scrap in the second tier and were recently playing their football in League One.
Since then they have bounced back up, appointed a young and ambitious manager in the shape of Lee Johnson and given him financial backing to improve the squad.
Johnson has added eight senior players already in this window with big names such as Gary O’Neil, Hordur Magnusson, Tammy Abraham, Callum O’Dowda and Lee Tomlin coming in to the club.
However, Bristol City could do with adding a few more faces to their squad before the transfer window slams shut to add depth and quality to their squad ahead of a potential play-off push.
To survive a whole, demanding Championship season without injuries is almost unheard of so a few more recruits should keep everyone fresh, rotated and hungry to make the first team.
Johnson is still in the market to add another centre back and a striker to his squad, as the priority positions going into the final stages of this summer’s window.
