Darren Moore’s West Brom moved up to second in the Championship table with their win over Reading last weekend.

The Baggies have started the season in terrific fashion, but have only really began to climb the table in recent weeks.

Moore’s side have won four out of their last five, with a draw at a tricky Sheffield Wednesday side making up the fifth game.

Despite this, they are just one of six or seven sides that will really fancy their chances of automatic promotion.

West Brom were relegated after a lengthy spell in the top flight and Darren Moore strongly believes his side have what it takes to make an instant return.

To do so, Moore may look upwards and recruit some talent from the Premier League.

Here, we look at FOUR Premier League players that may be on West Brom;s radar….

Jordon Ibe was once tipped to surpass Raheem Sterling, when the latter moved on from Liverpool. For one reason or another, those claims got proven to be ill-founded.

Despite this, he is a super talent and one that all Championship clubs should be monitoring, noting the fact he is struggling for game time at Bournemouth.

Jason Puncheon would provide brilliant cover for young Harvey Barnes, who may not be able to cover with the tough fixture schedule as the season progresses.

He is hardly getting a look in at Crystal Palace this season and a move to West Brom could be ideal for both parties.

Fraser Forster is third-choice goalkeeper at St Mary’s now, with McCarthy and Gunn preferred ahead of him.

Although he may not strictly become first choice at West Brom, he would provide great experience for young Sam Johnstone to follow.

Winston Reid has had injury problems in the last year and for that reason has not really been part of Manuel Pellegrini’s plans at West Ham.

The experienced defender could add some vital knowledge to the West Brom defence and help tutor young defenders such as Tosin Adarabioyo, who have often looked shaky at the back for West Brom.
