Aston Villa’s season has hit a corridor of uncertainty following the sacking of manager Steve Bruce.

After a sub-par run of results, the boss who led the club to the play-off final was shown the exit door to the delight of a big percentage of the Villa faithful, who were extremely disappointed at his work at the club.

The sacking comes at a good time, however. The international break means that Villa have a bit longer to get their new manager in, with Kevin MacDonald in temporary charge.

Rui Faria and John Terry seem to be the names that won’t go away in reports, with Thierry Henry reportedly out of the equation.

The new boss, whoever it is, will have a couple of months where he has to settle with the squad he has, before he can make a move.

However, in January, Villa will surely delve into the transfer market.

Here, we look at FOUR Premier League outcasts who could fit the billing at Villa Park and be a good addition to the squad…

Junior Stanislas has hardly featured for Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side this season despite being a key component in recent years.

The winger would bring more goals to Villa’s play and could be crucial in a promotion push.

Papa Souare has struggled to return to the first team following multiple set backs in the last year.

The Palace left back would be a perfect addition to Villa’s eleven and would provide his expertise both going forward and defensively.

Tom Cleverley spent a season at Aston Villa but was criticized for his poor performances. Since then, he has proved he is a great passer of the ball with excellent technique.

The Watford midfielder has hardly featured under Javi Gracia and may have to take a step down the footballing ladder.

Phil Jagielka has seen barely any minutes since his red card in the first game of the season.

The Everton defender may note that he may have to leave Goodison to get regular game time in the last years of his career, and Villa could be a perfect place for that.
