Birmingham City remain in danger of relegation from the Championship as the final day approaches this weekend.

The men from St. Andrew's have had a tough campaign this year and despite the better feeling since Garry Monk arrived, their Championship status is yet to be confirmed.

With that said, then, the Blues cannot start thinking about the summer window just yet as they are unsure what league they are going to be in.

Regardless of that, though, there will be a chance that some clubs will look to swoop and tempt their better players away in the next window.

Che Adams is one of those for sure, then, and we've been thinking about players who could replace him in the summer.

Here are four...

Tom Lawrence would be an ambitious move and it would largely depend on Derby not getting promoted and Birmingham staying up.

With the money that they'd surely get for Adams, though, they'd need to strike back immediately.

The Rams might want to keep hold of him as much as they can but every player does have their price in the Championship.

Joel Asoro would be a bigger risk than Lawrence but his potential makes him a real possible star of the future.

Surely Sunderland are resigned to losing him in the summer with him far too good for League One.

Garry Monk is good at working with young players and he'd surely get the best out of Asoro if he was to arrive.

Barrie McKay has been in and out of the side at Nottingham Forest this year under Aitor Karanka so there might be a chance the Spaniard is willing to let him go.

He's a good, tricky attacker with plenty to prove at this level and Birmingham fans would surely be keen to see what he can do.

Monk might be able to extract the best out of him as well.

Hoolahan is a free agent at the end of the season after an emotional farewell at Norwich at the weekend.

He has one more game to play at Elland Road against Leeds and then he can move on to pastures new.

He might be a different player to Adams but he's still very creative and might be a short-term option to give the Blues ideas in attack.
