Nottingham Forest have enjoyed a superb season so far despite Saturday's setback against Birmingham City.

Boss Sabri Lamouchi has done a fine job at the City Ground and he has quickly built a solid team that look capable of taking the Reds back to the Premier League.

Perhaps what's most impressive about his work is that the Frenchman hasn't come in and thrown big money around to make Forest contenders.

Instead, he has worked well with what he's got and there is a close bond between all at the club, with many academy graduates involved.

The likes of Michael Dawson, Joe Worrall, Ryan Yates and Matty Cash have played their part this season and they have all come through the ranks at different times over the years.

And, there's plenty more ready to step up as the East Midlands outfit are known for having one of the best academies in the country.

Here we look at FOUR Forest youngsters who have the potential to be stars in the future...

Alex Mighten

The 17-year-old is a real talent and is someone that Forest fans have had a glimpse of earlier this season, with the teenager featuring in a few cup games.

A quick, skilful attacking player, Mighten is impressing for the U23s and it already seems a matter of time before he is given a chance on a regular basis with the senior squad.

Brennan Johnson

Another who has been seen in the cups is Johnson. The attacking midfielder has featured for the Welsh U21 side and is technically gifted, athletic and capable of chipping in with goals.

Son of former Forest striker David, the 18-year-old has a bright future in the game.

Keith Asare

It's been clear for quite some time that Asare is a serious talent with reports linking Borussia Dortmund and Monaco with a swoop for the midfielder before he agreed to stay at Forest in 2018.

That highlights the natural ability he has and it was a coup for Forest to keep him in the East Midlands. So, the next challenge will be for him to push on into the first-team.

Where did these 15 Nottingham Forest players sign from?

Yassine En Neyah

The final Forest player with a big future is another attacking midfielder and En Neyah has shone for the U23 side this season as well.

Capable on the ball and clever with his movement, the youngster is a bright talent and someone who chips in with vital goals. He obviously has a battle to get near the first XI but En Neyah is a name we could see more of in the years to come.
