Millwall manager Gary Rowett will be looking to the January transfer window to bring his own players into the squad.

That may involve a few first-team players heading in the opposite direction, so we take a look at four potential Millwall players Rowett may look to move on in January...

Skalak has just returned from lengthy period on the sidelines following a foot injury, as he took his spot on the bench against Charlton.

However, the 27-year-old Czech has found opportunities limited when he has been fully fit, and Rowett may move the left-winger on if he doesn't see him being a part of his plans.

Tom Elliott was linked with a loan move to Ipswich Town in the summer but the deal fell through and the 29-year-old stayed at The Den.

The striker has been out since August with a hamstring injury, but may be deemed surplus to requirements when he returns to full fitness, with Matt Smith and Tom Bradshaw ahead of him in the pecking order.

Although ex-Millwall boss Neil Harris signed the striker in the summer, the 30-year-old has found his opportunities limited under Gary Rowett.

He has only made two appearances off the bench under the new manager, and Rowett may feel that Smith doesn't fit into his preferred style of play. With Smith wanting a run in the first-team, it could mean he heads for the exit door in just over a month's time.

The Irish international has been on Millwall's books since 2010, but has struggled to find his way into the first team so far this season.

He scored his only goal this term back in August against West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup.
