There are just nine games separating Leeds United from a Premier League return when the season can eventually resume.
Leeds sit top of the Championship table and seven points clear of third, with number crunching going on around Elland Road as they work out how many wins will seal Premier League football.
Of course, the EFL season is suspended and when things can resume, little focus will be beyond the remaining games.
Have Leeds United done these 15 things in the last 10 years? – Yes or no? Have a go now!
Yet, the summer offers an interesting spectacle, with plenty of decisions to be made in terms of the playing squad.
With that in mind, we take a look at FOUR players who we can see moving on…
Casilla is the obvious place to start given off-field developments.
Statistically, Casilla is the Championship’s best goalkeeper, but he’s currently suspended after a racism charge against him was proven, which has serious tarnished his reputation.
Cutting ties with Casilla feels like it might be the best option for Leeds to truly deal with this situation.
Berardi is one player out of contract at Elland Road this summer, with no contract extension agreed.
Leeds have used Berardi as back-up centre-back over the last two seasons, with there little indication of which direction the Whites will go now.
Berardi has been at Leeds since 2014, but these could be his last few months in West Yorkshire.
Douglas arrived at Elland Road on the back of a promotion-winning campaign with Wolves, but he’s not found his best levels at Elland Road.
The left-back has struggled with injuries and this season he’s only made 13 appearances across all competitions.
Leeds might like to retain the 30-year-old as back-up, but Douglas might want a fresh challenge and a guarantee of games.
The young goalkeeper hasn’t been seen this season and he’s fallen massively down the pecking order.
Kiko Casilla and Illan Meslier has served as the first-team’s goalkeepers, whilst Elia Caprile arrived in January to add to the depth.
Caprile is a youngster who you feel Leeds will have high hopes for, further denting Huffer’s chance of making it at Elland Road.
