Queens Park Rangers’ Ebere Eze scored twice from the spot in his side’s 3-2 win at Hull City in the Championship at the weekend, and the 21-year-old rightly took all the headlines.

It was another match-winning performance from Ebere Eze on Saturday.

He ran rings around Hull’s defence at the weekend, where he scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season so far.

Having surpassed his season record of four goals last year, Eze has well and truly asserted himself as one his club’s and the league’s best talents.

His performance at the weekend was arguably his best so far this season.

He had four shots throughout the game, two of them from the converted penalties, and making four key passes and completing six dribbles.

QPR have found first-team regulars out of several of their youngsters this season, Eze and his midfield partner Ilias Chair being the two standout ones.

Chair acted as more of a ‘linking’ midfidler against Hull, dropping back a little more to get the ball from the back and release Eze on the break.

There’s growing speculation surrounding Eze and QPR.

With his season going from strength to strength, fans are getting increasingly unsettled about the approaching January transfer window.

Eze has been the talk of Premier League rumour in the past and most recently, both Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in the midfielder.

Since Warburton's summer arrival in west London, the whole club has undergone a makeover.

14 players came in and 17 left as the club looks to rebuild some financial stability after years of free-spending in the Premier League, and the club has a fresh approach to their recruitment and their philosophy.

They've played some of the most fluid, most attacking football in the league this season and whilst the defensive side of their game lets them down, fans have plenty to be excited about this season.

Eze has undoubtedly been the main man so far this season, and he only looks to bet getting better with each passing game.

His involvements this season will be crucial to his team and despite January approaching, Eze has plenty of reasons to be happy with life at Loftus Road.

Reading will be well aware of him going into tomorrow night's game, and they'll have a tough job in keeping him quiet and continuing their pull out of the relegation zone.
