With the Championship season now over for those clubs who are not in the play-off picture, the summer transfer window is now almost upon us.
For Blackburn Rovers, that means that while the work on the pitch may be done for a few weeks at least, there is plenty to be done off it.
Following an underwhelming 2020/21 campaign that saw the club fall way short of expectations in their pursuit of a Championship play-off, and with a number of players either out of contract of with loans at the club expiring, it is expected that there will be a high player turnover at Ewood Park in the next few months.
Of course, those associated with the club will hope that sees the squad strengthened to an extent where it can indeed compete for a top-six place next season, although they may have to face the prospect of losing some key players as well this summer, given the situation they find themselves in.
So here, we’ve taken a look at four incomings, and four outgoings, we could see at Blackburn Rovers once the market has reopened this summer.
