West Brom are likely to be active in the transfer market this month after it emerged that Harvey Barnes is set to be recalled from his loan spell by Leicester City.

The Telegraph's John Percy broke the news, and it will come as a huge blow for the Baggies who would have been keen to hold onto their talisman.

Barnes has been in excellent form for the Baggies this season and has played a starring role in their promotion push this season as they target an immediate return to the top flight.

The on-loan winger has nine goals and six assists to his name so far, and without his contribution, West Brom surely wouldn't be in promotion contention.

It leaves Darren Moore with a selection headache going forward for the remainder of this season, but he's it's likely we'll see the West Brom boss looking into finding a replacement for Barnes at the earliest of opportunities.

But who could West Brom be targeting as Barnes' replacement?

Find out below....

Bradley Dack

Dack should be Darren Moore's top target in this transfer window to replace Barnes.

If you're comparing the who by statistics, then it's a like for like replacement, with Dack already having ten goals and four assists to his name this season.

His eye for goal is one of the best in the Championship, and he would surely be tempted by a move to the promotion chasing Baggies.

Emile Smith Rowe

The Arsenal youngster is yet to make a league appearance, despite his impressive showings in the Europa league this season.

Smith Rowe is a promising talent that is evidently rated highly with the Gunners, but he isn't seeing enough regular game time in first-team football.

A move to West Brom would be the best move for both parties, as he could really develop as a player with Darren Moore's side.

Lucas Piazon

It's surprising to still see Piazon with Chelsea this season.

After impressing with Fulham last season, it was expected that he would join them on a permanent basis, but this hasn't been the case.

The Brazilian is wasted on the substitutes bench and should certainly be considered as Barnes' replacement this season as he is proven in the Championship.

Ollie Watkins

The Brentford forward has been a rare bright spark in a disappointing league campaign for the Bees.

Watkins has seven goals and three assists to his name this season, and without him, Brentford would be in serious relegation trouble.

His pace and trickery have caused opposition defences all sorts of problems, and West Brom could be tempted to make an offer for the winger.
