Swansea City have enjoyed a positive start under Graham Potter, with the new boss already making an impact in Wales.

The former Ostersunds manager is clear on the way he wants to play, encouraging his side to play out from the back and dominate the ball.

Whilst performances have been mixed at times, supporters can see the plan that is in place and the Swans are sitting just outside the play-off places heading into the weekend fixtures.

Yet, anyone who has seen Swansea play will recognise that they are short in certain areas, with Potter working with a very small, and largely inexperienced, squad.

Therefore, he may consider making a move for a few free agents that could bolster his team.

Here we look at FOUR available players that could make an impact...

The powerful centre-back has great experience and that could be invaluable both on and off the pitch.

He is the dominant figure that they sometimes appear to lack in defence, whilst the younger players could come on significantly learning from the Premier League winner on a day-to-day basis.

Similarly, Martin is another experienced figure who could improve the defence.

Importantly, he is also decent on the ball, having played in a Norwich side that adopted a similar approach over the years.

His ability to play at full-back is another benefit.

Hoolahan could thrive in the passing style that Potter demands.

The former Norwich man doesn't have the energy to play 90 minutes every game but his quality on the ball is undoubted.

He could be a creative outlet in this team, even as a sub, and the pair seem a perfect match.

Many Championship sides will be looking at Sako, and the Swans should be one of those.

He has proven himself at this level, has the technique to play in this side and would give them a real threat with his pace and power.

They lack depth up top and Sako would be a massive upgrade, giving the team a real boost.
