After a midweek dominated by FA Cup replays, the Sky Bet Football League is back in full swing this weekend with a full programme of 36 matches over the three divisions.

Some highlights include League Two leaders Plymouth Argyle traveling up the M5 to fourth placed Bristol Rovers; Brentford travel to newly-promoted Preston North End in the Championship and there's a big game at the bottom of League Two as Dagenham & Redbridge go to Wales to face Newport County.

Another notable game is Carlisle United vs York City. This game is the first to take place at Prunton Park for 7 weeks, since Storm Desmond left the ground underwater and meant the pitch had to be relayed.

A full programme of fixtures can be found on footballleagueworld.co.uk, and you can stay up to date with alerts of all the goals as they go in on the Twitter feed, @FLeagueWorld.

QPR vs Wolverhampton Wanderers: (Saturday 23rd January, 12.30 KO, Championship)

Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink

These two former Premier League sides are separated by just three points in the table, and would have had the same goal in mind before the season kicked off last August - promotion.

Wolves sit eight points away from the play-offs after their recent loss to Cardiff City, with QPR in 15th place. If either team are to realise their promotion dreams, then now is the perfect time for them to go on a run.

In addition to this, both teams have leaky defences - so we could be in for a high-scoring game despite the fact that both QPR and Wolves are suffering from the loss of their highest scoring strikers.

Charlie Austin and Benik Afobe have scored 20 goals between them this season, and will undoubtedly take a lot of thought to replace.

Can either side push on to the Championship play-offs?

Portsmouth vs Oxford United: (Saturday 23rd January, 15.00 KO, League 2)

portsmouth

There is a massive match at the top of League 2 this weekend, with third placed Oxford traveling to fifth place Portsmouth.

The game is beautifully poised if you look at the stats - Portsmouth haven't conceded in their last six home matches and Oxford have scored in 85% of their away matches this season.

Both teams have had recent FA Cup success, with Oxford knocking out Premier League Swansea and Portsmouth defeating Ipswich in a replay.

Can either side capatilise on this recent form and improve their promotion chances this season?

Wycombe Wanderers vs Leyton Orient: (Saturday 23rd January, 15.00 KO, League 2)

Staying in the fourth tier, there is another big game on Saturday. Both of these sides were favourites to gain promotion after a couple of games. However, they have slightly tailed off from their early season form, with Wycombe sitting 7th and Orient 11th.

Wycombe beat current league leaders Plymouth in a play-off Semi Final last season before losing to Southend in the final, whilst Leyton Orient were relegated from League One.

The Chairboys will hope that 'keeper Matt Ingram is in the same solid form that he has been all season; he has been a crucial part of a defence that is one of the best in the league.

Can Orient pick up their form and make a late campaign for promotion back to the third division?

Burnley vs Derby County: (Monday 25th January, 19.45 KO, Championship)

dycheeee

On Monday night we see two promotion candidates go head to head at Turf Moor, as Paul Clement's Derby travel to Sean Dyche's Burnley.

The sides sit in fourth and third places respectively, with just one point separating the two sides.

Burnley will be hoping that Sam Vokes is in top form after putting pen to paper on a new deal, whilst Derby's new signing Nick Blackman is going to have to hit the ground running if his side is to get three points on Monday night.
