Wolves edged closer to the Premier League with a comfortable 3-1 against Burton on Saturday, that, combined with Aston Villa and Fulham dropping points, created a 13-point cushion for the league leaders over third.

It was a straightforward win for Nuno Espirito Santo's men against the struggling Brewers but the performance will have pleased the ex-Porto boss.

Particularly as the Black Country side had to do without the influential Diogo Jota who was forced off against Reading in the week.

As he did on Tuesday, Helder Costa stepped up to be a key man in Jota's absence.

The talented 24-year old hasn't hit the heights of last season in this campaign with injuries hampering his time on the pitch.

However, he is beginning to show signs of the old Costa that terrorised Championship defences during his first season in England.

Against Burton he topped that performance off with a goal, showing excellent movement to beat the offside trap to give the hosts the lead.

Yet, as our graphic shows, there was a lot more to the ex-Monaco man's game than the strike, with a very high pass success proving how useful he was on the ball for Wolves.

As well as that, he was always eager to run at the Burton defence, causing them serious issues with his dribbling.

All in all, it was a great day for Wolves and Costa - who is starting to look like the superb player of last season.
