Blackburn Rovers were desperately unlucky not to have claimed all three points against Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

A late Conor Hourihane strike for the visitors sealed a late draw for Villa, despite a valiant Rovers performance throughout the encounter.

Tony Mowbray's men remain in 13th position in the Championship, after two wins, four draws and just one defeat, and prepare to travel to Derby County on Tuesday night.

As games come thick and fast in the Championship, Mowbray will obviously look to make changes to ensure fitness levels are kept high, and the Lancashire club are blessed with some quality, young, attacking options on the bench.

With that being said, here we take a look at the starting line-up that Mowbray should look to field against Derby County on Tuesday night.

Raya has been a consistent performer for Rovers over the last two years and hasn't done anything wrong at all to be replaced any time soon.

Nyambe has been another player for Rovers who hasn't put a foot wrong for Mowbray's men this term, and simply doesn't deserve to be dropped any time soon.

The 24-year old is one of Rovers' most promising players, and has formed a strong partnership with club captain Charlie Mulgrew at the back.

The 32-year old, after Bradley Dack, is probably every Rovers fans' first name on the teamsheet, and the captain continues to be a solid figure at Ewood Park.

The first change Mowbray should look to make is Derrick Williams back in for Amari'i Bell.

The 25-year old offers presence and strength going forward for Rovers, and came on late for Bell on Saturday evening.

Bennett has often featured as a central midfielder for Rovers, and with an array of atttacking options looking to break into the starting lineup, he could do a job for Rovers on Tuesday night in midfield.

Another change Mowbray should look to make is Harrison Reed in for Ritchie Smallwood.

Smallwood hasn't really had the greatest of seasons so far, and should make way for the Southampton loanee who made a fine impact off the bench at the weekend, and did more than enough to keep his place in the first team.

Many Rovers fans have been calling for the industrious 23-year old midfielder to start for Rovers, and he should get that chance on Tuesday night.

Is there really any arguments for this? Dack has been incredible for Rovers ever since his arrival at Ewood Park, and he produced perhaps his best performance in  a Rovers shirt on Saturday evening, rounded off with a late goal.

The final change Rovers should look to make is Kasey Palmer in for Adam Armstrong.

The 21-year old has already netted 3 times since his arrival on loan from Chelsea, and has the potential to be a real star player for Rovers this season.

Rounding off the team is veteran striker Danny Graham, who will be looking to score his second goal of the season on Tuesday night.
