Bolton Wanderers’ survival chances in League One this season are fading away at a rapid rate it seems.
The Trotters were beaten by high-flying Wycombe Wanderers in their last league match, which leaves them struggling in the third-tier relegation zone.
Keith Hill’s side are sat bottom of the League One table, and are 19 points adrift of safety, with 17 games remaining of their league campaign still.
They have got games in hand over some of their relegation rivals this season, but whether the Trotters have enough depth in their squad to cope with that demand over a short space of time, is a completely different story.
It seems as though relegation is only going to be confirmed in a matter of time, but the club’s supporters will be hoping that their side can go down with a fight after a turbulent season on and off the pitch.
