It's safe to say that it's been a frustrating season for Bolton Wanderers, as they look destined for relegation into the fourth tier of English football this term.

The Trotters are currently sat bottom of the League One table, but are 21 points adrift of safety. Due to recent events, all fixtures have been called to a halt, although that seems as though it will just delay the inevitable for Keith Hill's side.

It's certainly going to be an interesting summer ahead for Keith Hill, as it looks increasingly like that he'll be preparing for life in League Two.

We look at FOUR Bolton Wanderers players that we can see leaving the club in the next few months.

Find out who they are, below....

Politic has previously been attracting interest from Aston Villa in previous transfer windows, although a move failed to materialise.

The youngster has been impressive for the Trotters when he's been involved for them this season, and he'll be hoping he can finish this year's campaign strongly.

With Bolton looking as though they're set to drop into the fourth-tier of English football, you would imagine that interest in Politic would rise again heading into the summer as he's already shown that he's good enough to play at League One level.

Darcy has made 22 appearances this season for Bolton, and has clearly made a good impression on other teams.

The likes of Rangers and Celtic are reportedly interested in signing him according to Football Insider, and if Bolton are relegated this season, then it seems likely that they'll reignite their interest in the summer.

The 24-year-old only signed for Bolton back in October 2019, but has made a positive impact given the difficult circumstances that the Trotters have been in recently.

He has four goals and four assists to his name in 27 appearances for Keith Hill's side, and it wouldn't come as a surprise to see him depart at the end of the season.

Dodoo is also out-of-contract at the end of this year's campaign, and is likely to be one of a number of players to leave the club if they're preparing for life in League Two.

Lowe is another Bolton player that is out-of-contract at the end of the season.

He has been a fantastic servant to the club over a difficult period of time, but it wouldn't come as a surprise to see him leave for another club in League One next term.

You would imagine that the Trotters are keen to keep hold of Lowe, but that decision could be put out of their hands if they're relegated into League Two.
