Another busy day in the EFL, here we highlight four of the biggest stories of the day........

Former Brentford and Wigan manager Uwe Rösler has thrown his hat into the ring for the vacant manager's post at Stoke City, following the sacking of Nathan Jones last week, according to StokeOnTrentLive.

Rösler, 50, is currently manager of Malmo in Sweden, but has indicated that he would jump at the chance of a return to the EFL.

Leeds goalkeeper Kiko Casilla has been charged by the FA after allegedly racially abusing Charlton's Jonathan Leko during their Championship match in September, it has been confirmed on the FA website.

The Spaniard has been charged under rule E3 which alleges he used abusive and/or insulting words whilst also being charged with an aggravated breach, and that his words related to race and/or colour and/or ethnic origin.

Leeds have released a statement that states "Leeds United Football Club acknowledges the charge from the FA today relating to Kiko Casilla and an alleged breach of FA Rule E3 during our Sky Bet Championship match with Charlton Athletic at The Valley in September," adding "Kiko strenuously denies the allegation and has proactively worked with the FA during their investigation to date."

Barnsley continue their hunt for a new manager with BBC Sheffield sport editor Andy Giddings tweeting that former FC Ingolstadt manager Jens Keller is a name being considered by the Tykes.

Keller, 48 is a former defender who played in Germany for 15 years for the likes of Vfl Wolfsburg, 1. FC Köln and Eintracht Frankfurt, before moving into club management in 2010.

The crisis at managerless Stoke City with the club back at the bottom of the Championship following their latest defeat to West Brom on Monday night.

On top of their poor form the cause for any new manager will not be helped by the news that current Super Lig champions Galatasaray want to bring midfielder Badou Ndiaye back to the club, according to Turkish media outlet Fotomac.

The 29-year-old moved to the bet365 Stadium from the Turkish giants back in 2018, but spent last season back with them and that has been enough to convince the current Supe Lig champs to make a move for the Senegalese international
