Despite deciding a change of manager was required, Spurs have also been attempting to sign a new player, but they have seen a £1.75million bid turned down for teenage Peterborough forward Ricky Jade-Jones, according to a report in The Sun.

The youngster is being watched by most of the Premier League and since turning 17 this month and signing a professional deal, Jade-Jones has scored twice including the second goal in his team’s 2-0 FA Cup replay win over Stevenage in the week.

Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer could be set to re-visit a move for Blackpool forward Armand Gnanduillet in the January transfer window, according to LondonNewsOnline, after a deal for the 27-year-old fell through at the end of the last deadline.

The player is out of contract at the end of this season and has scored 12 goals in all competitions so far this season.

Leeds United have now submitted all their evidence to the FA in relation to Kiko Casilla’s disciplinary case, it has been reported on Football Insider, despite having an extension until 27 November.

The 33-year-old has denied the charge of an alleged racial slur at Charlton’s Jonathan Leko, but if found guilty he could be suspended for up to 12 matches.

Leeds United are interested in signing Matej Vydra from Burnley in the January transfer window, according to the print edition of The Mirror (November 22, Page 74) with the club planning to make a bid of £7.5 million for the 27-year-old forward.

The Czech Republic international has failed to make an impact at Burnley in the Premier League, but the forward is well known to Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani.
