Birmingham City will be looking for their first win of the season when they play local rivals West Brom at St. Andrew's tonight.

It will be an extremely tough test for Blues, with Albion beginning to show why they are one of the favourites for promotion in recent games.

However, Garry Monk and his side will take confidence from how they've performed on their own patch since the former Leeds manager took over.

They recorded some high-profile wins towards the end of last season and have yet to lose at St. Andrew's in the current campaign.

But, Monk will be demanding a much-improved display from the goalless draw against QPR last time out, but doesn't have the biggest squad to pick from in terms of making changes.

Here we look at the XI we expect to line up for Blues tonight...

The keeper struggled initially after joining the club, but he kept a clean sheet last time out and that will be a boost to him.

The right-back is a quality player at this level and will need to be on his game against a very talented Albion attack.

Morrison has been a solid option for Monk since he took over and he will continue in the centre of defence.

The former Brentford man is Morrison's partner and another who has done well. The pair will have to keep Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle quiet if Blues are to have any chance of winning.

Pedersen has done reasonably well since arriving and is the obvious choice at left-back.

The Spaniard hasn't found the form he displayed at Brentford, with Blues only seeing flashes of his brilliance.

However, he is still a main attacking threat for the side and could be their matchwinner.

The Dutch midfielder will be aggressive in his play and will look to keep things simple and disrupt Albion's possession.

Another busy midfielder, Gardner will have to be disciplined, but will have more license to get forward than Kieftenbeld.

The quick winger will look to hug the touchline and get at the Albion defence and his pace could be vital in helping Blues counter.

The powerful forward should keep his place and is another who has the ability to cause West Brom problems.

The target man is going to have a big role to play to ease the pressure for Blues with his hold-up play and bringing others into the game.

Needs a big game if the hosts are to get anything.
