There is no hiding from the fact it has been a terrible start to the season for Steve McClaren’s QPR side, however the last two games represented a resurgence of sorts.
A win against Wigan Athletic followed by a draw at Birmingham City meant that QPR finally got their season up and running after four straight defeats to start the campaign.
It had been an embarrassing month for McClaren’s men, with some calling for his head after just three games when the R’s were humiliated at The Hawthorns as West Brom emphatically won 7-1.
Since then, things may be looking up, with the loan signings of Tomer Hemed and Nakhi Wells representing an ambition to turn things around.

Prior to these off the field troubles, Bolton had enjoyed a great start to the season and will be a stern test for McClaren’s QPR side.
Here, we look at the lineup we think the R’s will employ at the University of Bolton Stadium tomorrow…
