Tomorrow sees one of the biggest clashes of the League One season so far as league leaders Peterborough United face off against second-place Portsmouth at London Road.

The match is nearing a sell out with Pompey expected to travel in numbers and it is all set to be a brilliant atmosphere.

Neither Steve Evans or Kenny Jackett have seen their side lose this season, with the Posh winning six out of their seven matches (drawing once) and Portsmouth winning five and drawing twice.

The Posh currently have a two-point lead over their Saturday opponents and come into the match off the back of a plucky 3-2 win against Southend United last weekend.

So far they have started every match with the same line-up, but is this the day that changes?

Here is how we expect Evans to set-up his team on Saturday...

In goal will remain Aaron Chapman.

The former Accrington Stanley man has impressed without dazzling so far this season and has rarely shown signs of clumsiness.

He dominates his area and is already a firm favourite with the fans.

The former Ross County man has been a picture of solidity on the right of the defence.

His attacking prowess leaves a lot to be desired but he has become a key part of a rock-solid back line.

Posh's player of the season so far, for me.

One of last season's survivors, Tafazolli has been monumental at the back, winning everything in the air and bullying attackers relentlessly.

His battle with Ronan Curtis on Saturday will be the key to which way this match swings.

Partnering Taff will be summer signing Rhys Bennett.

He has been an ever-present in the side this season and has largely impressed, although has looked more vulnerable in recent weeks.

The former Mansfield man could be an area of weakness for Pompey to exploit.

Much like Naismith on the right, Daniel has been a solid presence on the left of the defence.

He has not shown himself to be the most technically gifted but has decent positional sense. His lack of pace could be a worry up against Jamal Lowe on Saturday however.

On the right of midfield will be Joe Ward.

Signed from Woking in January the winger is yet to dazzle the fans but has impressed them with his relentless running, something that Steve Evans is also a big fan of.

Portsmouth probably have a greater attacking threat than anyone faced by the Posh yet so Ward's industrious attitude will be important.

The captain will of course be starting.

Woodyard has been very impressive so far this season and has given Posh a hunger and a bite that they have lacked in midfield for years now.

I expect Walker to come in for Mark O'Hara.

Despite O'Hara bagging three goals already, the Wigan loanee seems to have much more guile and intelligence when on the ball.

This was a toss-up between Dembele and Marcus Maddison but think Evans will opt for his summer signing.

The former Grimsby man offers more in defensive areas than Maddison does and that always seems to be a clincher with Evans.

Godden has surprised many Posh fans with just how good he has been this season.

Six goals in seven league games is a terrific effort and his link-up play with Jason Cummings has been impressive as well.

He is fast becoming their main man.

Godden will have to link up with a different striker on Saturday as Ivan Toney will most likely be given a first league start.

The former Newcastle man scored the late winner against Southend and has impressed with his overall performances whenever he has come on.

With Jason Cummings' latest escapades going viral as well it seems like a good time to bring Toney in.
