Leeds are looking to get themselves a new manager in the near future with them still being linked with a number of names right now.

The men from Elland Road struggled to appoint a successor to Garry Monk last summer and things really did start to drag on - something they'll be looking to avoid this time around.

Even so, with the Marcelo Bielsa rumours continue to rumble on, there is a bit of a threat that this could start becoming a saga too.

With that in mind, then, we're thinking about the alternatives that the club could bring in during this off-season and Claudio Ranieri might be one worth considering if they want a marquee name.

With that said, then, we've applied his tactics to Leeds to take a look at how they might line-up next season - with some new faces thrown in as well.

Here's the XI...

Gunn is a player Leeds fans would love to see in goal.

He's a great young 'keeper capable of getting a Premier League spot sooner rather than later.

Ayling will be back in the side on the regular for next season and Leeds fans will be pleased about that.

Bartley is another player that Leeds fans want to see come in and there's certainly plenty of speculation about that happening right now.

Jansson has spoken about wanting to see ambition from the Whites and working under Ranieri would surely underline that.

Pearce is a bright young defender with a good future.

He'll look to cement his place in the side next season.

Hernandez has never had much pace but he has a superb brain and could really influence things on the right with his crossing and technical ability.

Forshaw is a top player at this level and one Leeds could build their midfield around.

Phillips divides the fanbase somewhat but he is a player with ability. He just needs to find that more consistently.

Alioski is a player who has plenty of tricks and can cause havoc out-wide.

He's not always the most consistent, though, so he needs to crack that in the coming season.

Ranieri likes to play two up top but with one coming a bit deeper more often than not. Samuel Saiz could provide that role with his ability between the lines.

Hernandez is a fine player and one that Leeds fans would be delighted with if he arrived.

He's got pace and power and great finishing - everything you'd want in a number 9.
