Norwich City prepare to host Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon off the back of an impressive 1-0 away win against a resurgent Brentford, sealed by a cracker from James Maddison.

Currently in 13th position in the division, it would be a real shock if Daniel Farke's Canaries were to make an impression in the promotion picture but the visit of Boro is another chance for them to test themselves.

There is little need for Farke to change much against Tony Pulis' side and his major decision revolves around whether to throw in January acquisition Dennis Srbeny up front.

I would give Srbeny the nod in place of Nelson Oliveira, who I feel lacks the mobility to pull the Boro defence out of position and help Norwich play on the break, as they are likely to need to do.

The rest of the team should stay as it was against Brentford, for me, with the creativity and pace of Maddison and Josh Murphy at the top end of the pitch could give Boro some problems as they look to get the result that their performances lately have deserved.

It is a gamble to throw in a new boy but sometimes a little bit of faith from the manager is what a new signing needs to get his career with a club off and running - and there would be no better time to start than tomorrow.
