A new era at Reading starts on Good Friday as Paul Clement takes charge of his first game as the Royals' new manager.

Clement arrived days after Jaap Stam was sacked following the club's latest loss to Norwich City just before the international break.

Clement will have had time to work with those players not called up by their countries, then, but it remains to be seen just how much of his message he has got across so far.

Certainly, he did well in saving Swansea from the drop when he first arrived and a similar task awaits him here.

Let's take a look at the XI he could play against QPR, then, on Friday night...

Conceded three against Norwich but should remain in the side.

Gunter racked up more apps for Wales in the break and now he'll be aiming to help save the Royals.

Moore will need to be at his best to get the Royals safe.

Ilori should stay in the side.

Blackett could play at left-back for this one.

Liam Kelly wants to play for England so he'll be looking to make a statement.

Van Den Berg could come in to add some steel to midfield.

Edwards has lots of experience and will be aiming to use that in the run-in.

Swift is an exciting talent and could help the Royals get safe.

Sam Smith also holds no fear and could produce some key moments.

Mo barrow has good ability and a touch of class. The Royals' attack might dig them out under a forward thinking Clement.
