Fulham are just one game away from the Premier League and promotion would top off what has been a remarkable second half of the season for Slavisa Jokanovic's men.

Whilst there have been several outstanding individuals that have made significant contributions, many will point to the January loan signing of Aleksandar Mitrovic as a major reason for their success.

Since arriving from Newcastle he has been superb, giving the Londoners a different dimension going forward and chipping in with crucial goals.

Therefore, if they do secure a return to the top-flight, signing the Serbian international permanently has to be a priority.

However, his form won't have gone unnoticed and here at FLW we think West Ham should rival Fulham for his signature.

Marko Arnautovic has been terrific up front but the Hammers still need more options and a target man like Mitrovic would give them a very good option and could get even more out of the talented Austrian.

Obviously, they have Andy Carroll but fitness and discipline issues mean he isn't reliable and whilst that could've been levelled at Mitrovic before, he has transformed his game at Craven Cottage.

Our graphic clearly shows how clinical he has been in front of goal which is key to any striker but it also displays how he brings a lot more to the team than goals.

He is very effective in the air which can bring others into the game and is clever on the ball which creates chances for his teammates.

At just 23-years old, Mitrovic has a lot of potential and is finally looking the player many thought he would be. And, with him seemingly out of favour under Rafa Benitez, West Ham should make a move for the striker.
