Slumping to their first home defeat against Norwich City on Saturday, Nottingham Forest have a chance to quickly make amends when they host Premier League side Arsenal in the EFL Cup on Tuesday at a sell out City Ground.

Forest boss Philippe Montanier has revealed he will make changes to the side that slipped to a 1-2 defeat on Saturday, with the Reds approaching their fourth game in ten days.

Nonetheless, Forest do have the squad depth to field a side capable of shocking Arsene Wenger's Arsenal on Tuesday night.

The Gunners come to the City Ground in good spirits after an impressive 1-4 victory over Hull City at the weekend, though Arsene Wenger is expected to rest some key players such as Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil for the trip to the East Midlands.

Players such as Ben Osborn and Henri Lansbury were both rested on the weekend and are both likely to feature on Tuesday whilst other fringe players may be given the chance to impress Montanier, as look they to create the upset of the round.

Here is the Forest side capable of causing a shock when they host the Gunners on Tuesday evening.....

Stojkovic may have conceded six goals in only three games for the Reds, but it could have been a whole lot worse had it not been for some stunning saves from the Serb.

The 33-year-old has impressed Forest fans, with his performances since his arrival and will be determined to secure a first clean sheet of the season tomorrow night, against what will be a very dangerous attack.

RB - Eric Lichaj

With Damien Perquis set to miss out once again, Matt Mills certainly has the experience and physical attributes to battle French international Olivier Giroud, should Wenger decide to choose him to lead the line on Tuesday night.

With both players strong in the air, it could be an intriguing battle between the two, however, Mills will have to improve on recent performances.

CB - Michael Mancienne

The former Chelsea player has been the strongest defender for the Reds this season, and is a must to start should they cause an upset tomorrow night.

Despite only being 28-years-old, he has plenty of experience against the very best.

Also, the speed Mancienne possesses will be vital to the Forest back four if Wenger decides to go with his new summer signing Lucas Perez tomorrow night.

LB - Armand Traore

After Philippe Montanier admitted that both the defence and goalkeeper needed shielding better, Cohen will be hoping that he can be the man to help protect the back four in a defensive midfield role.

His commendable work rate as well as his passion in the red shirt makes him a certain starter in a game of this magnitude.

CM - David Vaughan

This is a name that may surprise a few Nottingham Forest fans, but with Patjim Kasami due a rest, David Vaughan could be the other midfielder to protect the Forest back four tomorrow night.

Vaughan has found himself unlucky to not be involved in the squad over the last few weeks and will be keen to impress Philippe Montanier.

His confidence on the ball as well as his Premier League experience could be exactly what Forest need to create an upset tomorrow night.

AMR - Hildeberto Pereira

It is yet to be seen what Forest's latest addition will bring to the side after only making one brief appearance off the bench against Rotherham United last week.

The winger, signed from Porto on Deadline Day, will be keen to impress a sell out City Ground tomorrow night, and what better way to do it then against Arsenal.

He could be the surprise package needed to cause a famous upset.

Could his first goal come tomorrow night?
