After a positive summer of recruitment and an impressive start to the season, Bristol City were flying high and dreaming.

Back-to-back losses have seen them plummet out of the play-off spots into 7th place, though, and Lee Johnson will be keen for them to get back on track with a victory over Blackburn this weekend.

Owen Coyle's Blackburn visit Ashton Gate with the club sitting outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

However, after picking up four points in their last two games, they will buoyed and keen to take advantage of out-of-form Bristol City.

Bristol City will be pleased to see a fixture which is easier on paper than in recent games as they need a win to force them back up the table.

If Lee Johnson fields this line-up, in his trusted 4-2-3-1 formation, he should see his Bristol City side take all three points from this Saturday's clash with Blackburn.....

GK: Frank Fielding

Frank Fielding should continue to be given the number one spot ahead of Ivan Lucic and Richard O'Donnell.

The 28-year-old was out for much of last season with injury but has returned and taken back his starting spot between the sticks.

RB: Adam Matthews

Adam Matthews returned to the first team in midweek after a period on the sidelines.

Icelandic international Hordur Magnusson has impressed in England since switching from Juventus in the summer.

The 23-year-old is enjoying his time at Bristol City where he has been a regular at the heart of Bristol City's defence.

LB: Joe Bryan

Versatile left-footer Joe Bryan will continue to fill in at left back in the absence of Scott Golbourne.

The 23-year-old already has well over 100 appearances for Bristol City despite his young age.

CM: Gary O'Neil

Experienced campaigner Gary O'Neil brings so much to the Bristol City midfield and is still performing at high levels.

The 33-year-old should continue in his central midfield role at the weekend.

CM: Korey Smith

With fellow central midfielder Bobby Reid unlikely to feature this weekend due to injury, it paves a way back into the starting line-up for Korey Smith.

The 25-year-old has not started a game since April due to injury but he might return to the side after he was an unused substitute in midweek for the Robins.

RM: Jamie Paterson

If Jamie Paterson can add consistency to his game he will become a fantastic player.

The 24-year-old winger has skill and an eye for goal but is he worth the gamble?

CAM: Lee Tomlin

Bristol City are reliant on Lee Tomlin to do most of the creative work in midfield.

The 27-year-old always has a moment of magic up his sleeve and can contribute with goals and assists.

LM: Callum O'Dowda

Young winger Callum O'Dowda is still finding his feet in the second tier but he has plenty of promise.

The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland international joined from Oxford in the summer and has shown glimpses of his impressive pace and skill.

ST: Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham, on loan from Chelsea, is one of the most feared strikers in the Championship.

With eight league goals already, the 19-year-old is Bristol City's main man and there is an expectation for him to fire against a weak Blackburn defence.
