Leeds United's search for a manager continues to rumble on as they look to make 2018/19 a success.

After a short but far from sweet stint in charge of the Whites last season, Paul Heckingbottom was relieved of his duties earlier this summer.

Now, then, the Whites are looking for his successor with Marcelo Bielsa the name that is doing the rounds most of all.

Despite that, though, things are starting to drag on a bit and the Whites might just be thinking about alternatives to come in before too long.

Indeed, with that said the Telegraph reported over the weekend that Steve Bruce is on the club's radar and so we might just see him arrive at Elland Road in the near future.

With that in mind, then, here at FLW we're taking a look at the line-up he might employ at the club as well as which new faces might just join the old-guard...

Bailey Peacock-Farrell is a strong young goalkeeper and will want his chance whoever comes in as manager.

Luke Ayling is surely going to play at right-back next season with him recovering from his injury before the end of last campaign.

Kyle Bartley is a man the fans want at their club and you can certainly see it happening.

Pontus Jansson has much to offer but needs to prove himself after a tough 2017/18.

Tom Pearce will want to be given a chance under Steve Bruce if he arrives and certainly deserves one.

Mile Jedinak is a player Bruce loves and Leeds would certainly benefit from his strength in midfield.

Adam Forshaw brings energy and tenacity and should be integral next season.

Could Steve Bruce aim to bring Robert Snodgrass back to Leeds on loan?

In behind the main striker, Samuel Saiz will look to cause havoc and create plenty of chances.

Pablo Hernandez was Leeds' best player last year and has to feature.

Abel Hernandez and Bruce know each other from their days at Hull. This would be a good fit for all concerned.
