Leeds United are playing for nothing but pride in the Sky Bet Championship, with Paul Heckingbottom’s side drifting towards a mid-table finish.

There are just six fixtures of the season remaining for Leeds, starting this weekend when Sunderland visit Elland Road.

Heckingbottom’s side are going in search of just their third victory of 2018 when the Championship’s strugglers visit West Yorkshire, after a disastrous start to the calendar year.

With just those two victories to their name, Leeds have slipped from top-six contenders to mid-table, leaving Heckingbottom’s side with nothing to play for during the remaining fixtures this season.

Leeds’ supporters have stayed loyal despite their club’s downfall, with Heckingbottom’s side owing them something to cheer about between now and the end of the season, starting with tomorrow against Sunderland.

Here at FLW, we look ahead to tomorrow’s clash between Leeds and Sunderland, predicting the starting XI we are expecting to see Heckingbottom field…

Peacock-Farrell has firmly established himself as No. 1 at Elland Road and must continue this weekend.

Dallas has been good deputising at right-back and should continue this weekend.

Jansson’s performances might not have been as consistent as Leeds needed this season, but he remains one of the first names on Heckingbottom’s team sheet.

Matthew Pennington and Liam Cooper are struggling with injury, which opens the door for O’Connor to feature alongside Jansson and make his debut.

Berardi is likely to captain Leeds from left-back this weekend, with Laurens De Bock still out injured.

Phillips should return in place of the injured Eunan O’Kane, with Heckingbottom hoping the 22-year-old can bring the physicality that has been lacking recently.

Vieira looked back to his best over the Easter period and should benefit from having Phillips alongside him this weekend.

Alioski has had an inconsistent year, but has been better with Samuel Saiz and Pablo Hernandez in the team.

That trio could be key to sinking Sunderland this weekend.

Saiz needs a big performance to get supporters back on side.

Since his return from suspension, the 27-year-old has been far too inconsistent and owes Leeds this weekend.

Unlike Saiz, Hernandez has been anything but inconsistent in 2018, with the 32-year-old arguably Leeds’ best player since the turn of the year.

Linking up with Alioski and Saiz will benefit him.

Caleb Ekuban needs to be taken out of the firing line this weekend, with Lasogga brought back in.

Sam Dalby is another pushing for a first-team opportunity, but you’d imagine Heckingbottom will favour Lasogga this weekend.
