Queens Park Rangers are a team that could be set for a serious turnaround in form in the Championship after a fantastic result against Norwich City last weekend.

Under Ian Holloway, the Hoops looked completely revitalised and their chances of breaking into the top half of the table could be increasing by the week if they can keep that up.

After a season of near-misses, off-the-field controversies and a struggle to find goals, things are finally beginning to look on the up.

What seems clearer than ever is that the QPR players are finally beginning to find a bit of belief in a season that has wielded little joy so far.

But with a tough tie against Ipswich Town on the horizon, how exactly should Holloway go about lining up his troops for the game against the Tractor Boys?

Should he stick with the XI that defeated the Canaries or bring in some players that have struggled to break in so far this campaign?

With that in mind, here's the line-up that FLW writer Hayden Atkins thinks Holloway should go with against Ipswich this weekend.

GK: Alex Smithies

Alex Smithiesd

Former Huddersfield Town man Alex Smithies has been pretty reliable for the Hoops so far this campaign and his place in goal isn't under threat in the slightest.

RB: James Perch

After struggling to hold down a first team place at a number of clubs, James Perch has really settled in at right back at Loftus Road.

He might not be the typical marauding full back of the modern day game, but he's a solid option who offers good protection on the right-hand side.

CB: Nedum Onuoha

Veteran defender Nedum Onuoha is a top player at this level and when he's on his game, he's an incredibly difficult defender to beat.

Ipswich have been struggling to score themselves this season and if the former England man is on his game, a clean sheet could be on the horizon.

CB: Joel Lynch

huddersfield

One of Holloway's first decisions was to bring Joel Lynch into the side as a centre back alongside Onuoha against Norwich and he looked very solid.

The Hoops have a plethora of injury doubts disrupting their side and to have a man stepping up like Lynch has is a very promising sign for Holloway.

LB: Jack Robinson

Jack Robinson came off with a slight hamstring knock in the win over the Canaries but Holloway will be hoping that he'll make it in time for the game against Ipswich because Jake Bidwell is a doubt too.

He offers good pace on the left-hand side and for a team lacking a bit of direction at times, having him fit and playing well would be really useful.

CDM: Grant Hall

Grant HallGrant Hall

Grant Hall played in a slightly more advanced position in the win over Norwich City and looked very good indeed.

The former Spurs man has been at a whole host of clubs but now looks settled at QPR and he might be a big player for the club going forward.

CDM: Massimo Luongo

luongoooo

Former Swindon Town man Massimo Luongo has really needed to step up in recent weeks and the youngster is certainly showing signs of becoming a top Championship midfielder.

He's a real workhorse in the middle of the park and he'll be looking to keep the Ipswich forwards quiet in a game QPR could really do with winning.

RM: Tjaronn Chery

cherychery

Tjaronn Chery missed a penalty against Norwich City but can be forgiven because he really offers QPR an attacking outlet with his pace on the flank.

The former Groningen winger has been one of the more highly rated Dutch players to come to England and do well in recent years and if his form continues, QPR will only continue to climb the league table.

CAM: Jordan Cousins

cousins

Signed by former manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink from Charlton Athletic, Jordan Cousins is another man who is showing serious signs of promise.

He's a hungry, hard-working individual that can play across the midfield and defence, and when the going gets tough with injuries and suspensions, he'll be a great player to have in the squad.

LM: Conor Washington

washington

Conor Washington cops a bit of stick from the QPR faithful at times but, after his goal against Norwich City last week, the Northern Ireland international will be looking to continue to step-up his Hoops' career.

Under a new manager he'll have the chance to really show the coaches what he can do and at times, he offers a real forward thinking attitude in the QPR front line.

ST: Idrissa Sylla

sylla

Without Idrissa Sylla's goals this season, QPR might be in more than a little bit of trouble.

Despite not starting Holloway's first game against Norwich, we think the burly forward offers Rangers' most direct attacking option and he's a man that can really change games.
