Sunderland picked up a decent draw in midweek, holding Steve Evans' Peterborough in a game they might have got all three points from.

They led 1-0 when Bryan Oviedo was sent off, but despite a Posh equaliser they regained the lead, only to be pegged back late on. Oviedo lashed out at Marcus Maddison and saw red for his efforts, not only costing his side three points but also denying them of his services this weekend.

Despite the injury to Charlie Wyke and the other disruptions around the squad, the Black Cats have a strong set of players and several options available to them this weekend.

Jerome Sinclair will be hunting a starting spot, as will Dylan McGeough, but will they be in this weekend?

Here's the XI we think Sunderland will play tomorrow against struggling Bradford City.

McLaughlin will almost certainly start in goal.

There's no reason to drop him, his performances have been strong and he's clearly the number one at the Stadium of Light.

Matthews is a former Celtic man who has come in for some criticism in some quarters.

He's still likely to be in at right back, but is he on borrowed time? Possibly.

With Bryan Oviedo suspended, Reece James is likely to fill in at left back.

The 23-year-old has plenty of experience with Wigan and will not cause Jack Ross any worries at all.

Baldwin is the first choicecentre-backk, but he won't be paired with Glenn Loovens who is injured.

The former Peterborough captain has made a solid start to life on Wearside and is a reliable defender with aggression and composure in equal measure.

In the absence of Loovens, Tom Flanagan will play centre half.

He's got four League One outings to his name so far and began in midweek against Peterborough, so he's the natural choice to continue in the middle of the defence.

Cattermole will surely return after his suspension, he at the midweek game out but is too important to leave on the bench.

He's contributing plenty this season and his attitude is always positive, if not a little over exuberant at times.

Power picked up the captaincy in the absence of George Honeyman and he too is coming in off the back of a recent suspension.

He put in a good shift against Steve Evans' side and will surely play a major role tomorrow.

Honeyman should also come back in, if he's fully fit.

He's the club captain and a shining example to the other young players at the club what can be achieved through hard work and endeavour.

If he takes them out of this division, he'll never buy a drink in Sunderland again.

McGeady has recently returned from injury and should have far too much quality for this division.

He's a top flight player, someone who is now faced with the unusual task of battling third-tier defenders.

If he can't seriously improve Sunderland's attacking options there's something wrong.

Maguire disappointed at Bury last season, but he's impressing in red and white this time out.

He'll likely sit behind Maja up front, helping the youngster out with hard work and experience.

He's the man of the moment, the exciting youngster few expected to be leading the line, or the scoring charts at this stage of the season.

He's taken his chance superbly and Sunderland look all the better for it. Don't rule him out of scoring again this weekend.
