Nottingham Forest make the trip to Reading on Saturday afternoon in search of their first three points away from home this season.

The Reds are in a torrid run of form which has seen them slip down to 19th position and with only one win in the last ten games, doing little to pick up the feeling after a poor season last term.

Their opponents have started the season much better under new manager Jaap Stam as the Royals sit in 8th place where a win on Saturday could move them into the play-off positions.

With the Berkshire outfit in a run of good form, the visitors will be in good spirits at the Madejski.

Philippe Montanier's men face a tough test in what is already a must-win game for his side if they want to move away from the relegation zone.

With that in mind, here is the Nottingham Forest side that can get all three points at Reading on Saturday afternoon...

GK- Vladimir Stojkovic

Stojkovic is still looking for his first clean-sheet of the season.

Although the Reds' defence has done little to help him so far this season, the pressure must be starting to build on the Serbian international.

RB- Eric Lichaj

Lichaj is expected to keep his place in the starting eleven despite being a part of the shambolic defensive display against Cardiff City last weekend.

The 27-year-old will need to be at his best to contain the threat of Reading's wide men on Saturday as well as playing a role in the Forest attack as they look for their first away win.

CB- Matt Mills

mills

After a shambolic defensive display from youngster Thomas Lam last weekend, the experienced Matt Mills is likely to replace him after missing the last game through suspension.

Mills' physical presence will be welcomed after last week and he will need to put in a solid performance to help contain the experience of Reading striker Yann Kermorgant.

CB- Damien Perquis

Perquis partnered Lam in defence in last week's abysmal showing but with both Jack Hobbs and Michael Mancienne out injured he is likely to partner Matt Mills in defence on Saturday.

Like Mills, Perquis will need to be at his best to contain the physical threat of Yann Kermorgant as they look to secure a first clean sheet of the season.

LB- Danny Fox

Armand Traore looked solid going forward last week against Cardiff City but was not good enough defensively meaning Danny Fox should be given a run in the side.

CDM- Chris Cohen

cohen

Chris Cohen was one of a small few who worked hard in last weekend's defeat and should be the first name on the team sheet on Saturday.

The club captain plays for the name on the front and his passionate displays are admirable. The 29-year-old will need to be at his industrious best to help the Reds secure all three points.

CM- Henri Lansbury

lansbury

Forest could certainly do with Henri Lansbury at his best on Saturday. The former Arsenal man was poor last week and it reflected in the performance of the whole side.

CM- Pajtim Kasami

kasami

The former Fulham man is still in a poor run of form but Saturday would be the perfect time for him to rediscover his top form.

On his day, Kasami can easily be one of the strongest midfielders in the Championship and it is time for him to get some consistency.

RM- Nicolao Dumitru

dumitru

Dumitru has failed to impress the fans since his arrival in the summer but with Hildeberto Pereira and Mustapha Carayol unavailable through suspension and injury.

The 25-year-old gets in the right positions but his final product has been extremely poor and Forest fans will be hopeful that this can change on Saturday.

LM- Ben Osborn

Ben Osborn

The 22-year-old continues to impress Nottingham Forest fans despite the poor run of results. His high work rate and ability with the ball causes opposition teams problems.

A lack of goals is his biggest weakness and Saturday would be the perfect time to change this.

ST- Britt Assombalonga

Assombalonga's ability to be in the right place at the right time and get on the score sheet is sorely missed.

Forest need goals on Saturday and Assombalonga will be desperate to get out there and get them for his side.
