Sheffield United need to try and bounce back this week against Middlesbrough after they lost ground in the play-off race at Barnsley.

The Blades knew that they could really apply the pressure on those below them in the Championship table and, indeed, those above with a win but some poor finishing cost them dear at Oakwell.

Even so, they've got a good chance to claw back some chance if they manage to beat top six rivals Middlesbrough in the mid-week fixtures.

Certainly, though, Chris Wilder will need to get his team selection right for such a massive game and that is what we've been thinking about recently.

Here's the XI we reckon could take to the field against Boro then...

Simon Moore is set to continue in goal for this one.

Chris Basham will surely play in defence.

Jake Wright could continue in defence for this clash.

Jack O'Connell is also set to feature in defence in this one.

George Baldock will keep his place at right-wing back.

John Lundstram will surely start in this fixture.

£360k-rated Mark Duffy should come back into the side for this one.

John Fleck got a goal at the weekend and would like to get more for sure.

Enda Stevens will continue in his usual slot down the left.

Leon Clarke bagged at the weekend and will be vital in this one.

Billy Sharp could start after being a sub at the weekend.
