Sunderland take on Charlton this weekend in the EFL Sky Bet League One Play-off final at Wembley and it should prove to be a cracking game.

Much of the discussion ahead of this one has been about the match being a repeat of the 1998 classic where Charlton eventually won on penalties after the game had ended 4-4.

Certainly, a repeat of that this weekend would go down a treat - though it might leave several invested fans with blood pressure for the roof.

One man that can really influence the direction of the game, meanwhile, is Aiden McGeady - providing Jack Ross deems him fit enough to play some sort of role.

Here, we take a look at his stats from the league campaign:

Sunderland are hopeful that McGeady is going to be a part of things this weekend and if he is that gives them a huge boost.

As his stats show he has the ability to be a match-winner and, of course, he has shown that on several occasions this season in League One.

Nominated for the player of the year award at the EFL Awards, it's clear he could be the difference on Sunday, and fans will just hope he is near full fitness if not 100% if he returns to the side.

Jack Ross, though, must be tempted to throw him in.
