Middlesbrough will be seeking to record a positive result in what promises to be an extremely tough away game in the Sky Bet Championship against West Brom this coming Saturday.

The North East outfit have lost their last two league games to Birmingham City and Luton Town respectively and will be seeking to halt their slide down the league standings.

Boro boss Neil Warnock recently surpassed the 1,600 game mark in senior management and will be hoping that he can achieve something special this season to celebrate such a feat.

Middlesbrough face a West Brom side who are just six points off the top of the league after they beat Hull City 1-0 in midweek.

Here, we take you through our predicted Middlesbrough starting eleven for their league game against West Brom.

Luke Daniels should keep his place in goal over Joe Lumley, with the latter having had a difficult start to his Middlesbrough career so far.

There should be one change to the back three, with Warnock likely to pluck for the more experienced Lee Peltier ahead of Anfernee Djiksteel on the right of the back line, which means the veteran will line up alongside Sol Bamba and Paddy McNair.

In midfield both Onel Hernandez and Isaiah Jones will operate as the advanced wing backs, with Matt Crooks and Jonny Howson acting as the two box to box midfield players who will be tasked with taming the likes of Robert Snodgrass in the centre of the park for the opposition, whilst also providing support in attack themselves.

Marcus Tavernier will once again operate as a makeshift number 10, with his creativity and flair sure to be important during this game in the absence of Martin Payero.

Up top Josh Coburn will be looking to build on his goal in midweek against Luton, whilst Andraz Sporar will also be looking to get himself back on the goal trail.
