Tony Mowbray will take his Blackburn Rovers side into their clash with Swansea City on Tuesday night in high spirits.

Last time out they beat high-flying Leeds United 2-1 at Ewood Park to take them up into 7th place, leaving them outside the playoff places on just goal difference.

Considering it is their first season back in the Championship since being promoted from League One last season it is particularly impressive.

The likes of Bradley Dack, Danny Graham and Charlie Mulgrew have all maintained their good form from last season resoundingly answering the critics who said they may not be able to make the step up.

But with the matches coming thick and fast it is likely that Mowbray will want to make changes to his side for the midweek clash.

So here is the XI we expect him to line-up with on Tuesday night...

Raya is quickly proving himself to be one of the division's top shot-stoppers.

It would, therefore, be a huge surprise if he were to be dropped.

Having impressed in the role so far, Bennett will most likely continue at right-back.

The added attacking presence he brings will be a big threat to the Swans and one that Mowbray will be unlikely to tinker with.

After bagging the winner against Leeds Lenihan will most certainly retain his place.

Every manager loves a settled defence and that is what Mowbray appears to have found.

Mulgrew will, of course, be starting alongside him.

The pair's partnership seems to be growing stronger with every game and there is no reason to change that at all.

As always, expect the Scot to bring an added goal presence.

Amari'i Bell has been impressive this season.

His pace down the left has given Rovers a real added threat on the counter-attack which will no doubt continue to be employed tomorrow night.

Conway's inclusion seems inevitable after his weekend cameo.

An assist and all-around classy midfield display will make it extremely difficult for Mowbray to ignore him when picking his XI.

He will most likely replace Smallwood in a like-for-like change.

Partnering him in central-midfield will be Corry Evans.

He was key in their promotion from League One last season and has carried that form into this campaign.

The 28-year-old is one of the club's most important players.

On the right expect to see Reed retain his place.

A classy assist on Saturday against Leeds showed what he has to offer and will no doubt be given the chance to show more against Swansea.

Obviously, Dack will be starting.

As it stands, Rovers face a real struggle to hold on to him in January and it is not hard to see why given his form this season.

He will be the first name on the team-sheet.

Despite playing out of position, Armstrong has been impressive this season.

It would be a real surprise if Mowbray decided to take him out of his side for the Swansea clash.

You get the feeling the more consistently he plays, the better the former Newcastle man will get.

Leading the line will be Danny Graham.

He will be hopeful of following up his strike against Leeds with another one or two against Graham Potter's side.
