It is no secret that Leeds United will look to change their personnel in the goalkeeper department this summer.

The Whites have been linked with Dean Henderson, Angus Gunn and David Stockdale as they look to replace their options from last year.

Andy Lonergan was poor between the sticks and Felix Wiedwald came in for a lot of criticism from fans.

It appears that Wiedwald could be off this summer, back to Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt keen on the stopper.

Here, FLW looks at Wiedwald's season in numbers and considers whether Leeds should be looking to get rid of him or whether they should give him another chance.

His statistics actually look quite impressive: in 28 games, he only conceded 33 goals, with 12 clean sheets in there too.

With a clean sheet rate of 42.9%, these numbers do not appear to show him in a bad light.

Many fans have also claimed that he is too lightweight for the league but a 90% claim success rate is not that bad at all.

However, these numbers are masking the fact that he was suspect between the sticks.

While he may have claimed nine out of 10 balls coming into the box, he often looked nervous coming out for the ball and did not fill his defenders with confidence.

The 28-year-old was also prone to making an error and costing him team some points.

Wiedwald simply did not look ready for English football and Leeds would be wise to allow him to move back to Germany and to bring in a proven Championship stopper in his place.
