Birmingham City will look to build on their impressive victory at Reading on Saturday when they welcome QPR to St. Andrew's tomorrow night.

Pep Clotet's side have had a mixed start to the campaign but their eighth win of the season has left the side in 13th place and just four points away from the play-offs ahead of the hectic festive period.

However, the Spaniard hasn't been helped by a lot of injury issues recently and that should mean that changes are made when they take on Mark Warburton's men.

Here we look at the XI he should go with against the R's...

Firstly, Connal Trueman has done well since coming into the team at the expense of Lee Camp so he will keep his place but there will be changes in front of him.

An injury to Jake Clarke-Salter, who joins fellow centre-back Marc Roberts on the sidelines, means that Clotet has a problem at the heart of the defence and Wes Harding is likely to come in.

Whilst some fans would want to Geraldo Bajrami to start at centre-back, the reality is that the boss brought Harding on at the Madejski Stadium and he should keep the shirt, with reliable full-backs Maxime Colin and Kristian Pedersen down the flanks.

Going forward, Blues produced arguably their best attacking performance of the season last time out and there was a real balance to the team so they will be seeking more of the same.

The Ivan Sunjic, Josh McEachran partnership worked very well and ensured Blues kept the ball, so the two should start again - even if the latter may not complete the full game.

Do you know where these 15 ex-Birmingham City players are playing now?

Playing Jude Bellingham in a more advanced role worked extremely well on Saturday and the teenager has to continue in that position, with Jeremie Bela providing pace down the flank.

Jacques Maghoma should replace the injured Danny Crowley and he will be another direct threat for Blues.

That attacking trio will be tasked with feeding lone striker Alvaro Gimenez who should be feeling confident after scoring his third goal of the season against the Royals.
