Sunderland face a real acid test as they take on Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

The Chairboys are leading the way in League One as they sit three points clear at the top of the table and appear to be good value to secure automatic promotion to the Championship this term.

It could be argued that Wycombe are occupying the spot that should be held by the Black Cats, however a difficult first half of the season has left the Wearsiders in ninth place in the table.

That said, Sunderland have certainly picked up in recent weeks and find themselves on a run of five games without defeat and just one point from the play-offs.

A victory over Gareth Ainsworth's side could see the Black Cats move move into the top six and would be a real signal of intent as they look to make a late surge towards promotion.

But how will Phil Parkinson's side line up at the Stadium Of Light? We take a look.

Sunderland's 3-1 victory over Lincoln City was a real signal of intent from the Black Cats and it's likely that Phil Parkinson will name an identical side to last week.

Joel Lynch and Luke O'Nien were doubtful for this weekend's clash with Wycombe Wanderers, but the club have confirmed that both players should be fit to feature.

Can you name every Sunderland player's shirt number this season?

That said, it's hard to see Lynch breaking into the team again following a solid display from Tom Flanagan, Alim Ozturk and Jordan Willis.

George Dobson and Max Power should line up in midfield, while Denver Hume is expected to keep his spot on the left flank.

In attack, it's likely that Lynden Gooch and Chris Maguire will once again support Charlie Wyke in attack, with the Black Cats opting for a 3-4-3 formation against the Chairboys.
