Sheffield Wednesday have recently appointed Steve Bruce as their new manager and he will be keen to build on the impressive form that the Owls have shown over the festive period.

Caretaker manager, Lee Bullen, has taken Sheffield Wednesday back up the table, and supporters will be hoping that Bruce can be the man to take them into the top six for an unlikely play-off charge.

Bruce isn't expected to take charge until February due to personal commitments, so it remains to be seen as to whether any funds will be made available for Bullen in the January transfer window.

It could be a make or break transfer window for the Owls as they look to make additions to their squad to help aid their late promotion push.

If they can get this transfer window right, then it could see them break into the top six in the near future.

But what plans will Sheffield Wednesday have for the perfect transfer window?

Find out here....

The Owls have a number of strikers currently at the club, and with Sheffield Wednesday only playing one man up-front, it's difficult to keep all of the forwards happy.

Sam Winnall and Atdhe Nuhiu have only made a small number of starts and could be sold in January to clear the wage bill at Hillsborough.

Gary Hooper and Fernando Forestieri are both sidelined and they will be keen to challenge Steven Fletcher and Lucas Joao for a starting spot in the Sheffield Wednesday XI.

Sheffield Wednesday have a number of high earners currently at the club that aren't seeing anywhere near enough game time this season.

The likes of Almen Abdi and Kieran Lee are sure to be some of the first names out of the exit door at Hillsborough as they have fallen well down the pecking order at the club.

Reach has already been linked with Wolves before the transfer window opened, and he is sure to be a man in demand this month.

The 25-year-old has six goals and three assists to his name in a hugely impressive campaign for the winger.

If Sheffield Wednesday have any ambition of progressing this season, then they will need to do everything they can to keep hold of him.
