According to the Express and Star, David Edwards has heaped praise on Helder Costa yet again after another scintillating performance from the Portuguese star.

Helder Costa set up two goals as Wolves beat play-off chasing Fulham 3-1 at Craven Cottage to ease their relegation woes.

This took the 23-year-old’s tally to eight assists and eleven goals for the season.

Wolves fought off plenty of Premier League interest to land the pacey winger on a permanent deal in January and David Edwards is loving it.

The Wales international said:

“Helder Costa…I wax lyrical about him every week but he’s a top, top player.

“We’re so lucky at this football club to have a player of that quality.

“His work rate for the first goal when he’s put in on a plate for Cavaleiro and he’s done exactly the same for me.

“He really deserved a goal, but as a winger he’s happy with the assists I suppose.”
