Oxford United have seen themselves climb away from the drop zone in League One in recent weeks, but the recovery doesn't stop after a couple of games.

They're back at the Kassam tomorrow, a ground which hasn't proven to be the home fortress they might have liked. The visitors, Blackpool, are also in fine form and it promises to be an intriguing clash between two decent sides.

Karl Robinson was always going to get Oxford going eventually, but it's taken time and a couple of good results mean very little. After the start they've had they need a run of a month or two where everything runs for them.

The clash with Terry McPhillips' side represents a good chance to see where they are in relation to another strong League One side. Win, and there's hope for the future.

Lose, and it is a big step back.

We think there's call for a return to the first XI for a certain 31-year old, here's how he fits into the picture in our eyes.

The 29-year old is a stalwart of this Oxford side and unlikely to find himself dropped.

He's not complacent of course, just a safe pair of hands when called upon.

Long is a product of the youth academy who has f=broken through after five seasons of being on the fringes of the set up.

he's looked comfortable in the last few weeks and will surely keep his place tomorrow.

The former Coventry man is a midfielder by trade, but he's settled into the left back role nicely in recent weeks.

He'll stay there this weekend as he's beginning to form a nice relationship with the rest of the back four.

The former Reading man joined Oxford last January and hasn't looked back.

He is comfortable on the ball and likes to bring it out of defence when he can.

25-year old Nelson is a player who has been catching the eye of late.

He's a former England Under 18 international with lots of experience at this level with Plymouth.

Mousinho is the club captain and although he's a defender by trade, he will sit nicely in front of the back four and screen.

He's vitally important to Oxford and he helps the younger players around him.

The former Liverpool midfielder is a player you'll hear much more about in the coming years.

Since his move to the Kassam he's settled nicely and is learning the level from the likes of Mousinho.

He'll be an important player in the weeks ahead.

We like the idea of a 4-2-3-1 for Oxford, much the same as Sunderland play.

In that set up, we're having Ricky Holmes back in the line up.

Competition in those areas is fierce, but Holmes is a crafty player with skill and creativity.

West Ham loan player Marcus Browne gets the nod too, we're having him in the bank of three looking to get forward when he can.

He's got terrific technique and is comfortable on the ball.

29-year old Henry made his name at Millwall, but he is an experienced head in the middle of a young-looking attack for the U's.

He can get forward and add to the attack, but we like him sat a bit deeper, pulling the strings with the game unfolding ahead of him.

Jamie Mackie has been getting the nod up front, but in our XI we fancy Gavin Whyte as the striker.

Whyte only joined from Crusaders in the summer, but he's looking a real prospect for Karl Robinson.
