30-year-old Brentford star set for shock big money move to China

Brentford striker Lasse Vibe is set to make a move away from the Bees and sign for Chinese Super League side Yanbian FC, according to a report in West London Sport.

The Bees striker has been an impressive player for the Londoners over the past couple of seasons and has seven goals to his name this term too, but now appears to be on the verge of a shock move to the Far East with big spending Yanbian keen to snap up Vibe.

The Danish striker has made just over 90 appearances for Dean Smith’s side since signing from Goteberg in 2015, and has bagged just shy of 40 goals with an impressive strike-rate during his time at Griffin Park.

However, in the report, manager Dean Smith confirmed that the striker was left out of the squad yesterday as he is negotiating a move away from Brentford, and that he will go if the clubs can agree on a deal to move him on.

Plenty of players have made the switch to China over the last couple of seasons as billions of pounds have been doing the rounds in the Far East, however, this move will come as a shock to most Brentford fans, who will have been expecting Vibe to stay till at least the end of the season.

Brentford fans, what do you make of this? Good move all around? Let us know in the comments!
