Bristol City central midfielder Adam Nagy has helped play a part in his side's rise up into the Championship play-offs, after signing in the summer from Italian club Bologna.

The Hungarian international has been a regular for the Robins in the past month, and has grown to become a fan favourite in the Ashton Gate stands as his performances in the centre of midfield have been a reason as to why Bristol City have managed to rise up to fourth.

Here, we take a look at three words that sum up the 24-year-old's start to the season so far...

Injuries

The midfielder has spent a prolonged spell on the sidelines this campaign, as a small injury in August transpired in to something that became much bigger and kept him out for two months longer than he should have been.

Nagy being called up for international football twice while having to sit out of games for Bristol City didn't help matters, as Robins manager Lee Johnson also stated that Nagy had returned from September international duty in a worse state than when he left for Hungary.

Since returning at the start of last month however, Nagy has shown no signs of a previous injury.

Consistent

The central midfielder has been consistent when pulling on a Bristol City shirt this season, never letting his performances drop and always making sure that he was able to perform at the peak of his powers.

The Robins supporters have grown to like the midfielder quickly, despite him only playing eight games in the Championship so far for Bristol City because of the injury he has had to put up with across the campaign.

Nagy's performances haven't been of the spectacular kind, but he has been consistent enough to warrant a place in the starting lineup every week.

Calm

If there has been one word that can describe how the 24-year-old has played while pulling on the Bristol City shirt this season, that word would be calm.

Nothing has appeared to faze the Hungarian as he has found himself under constant amounts of pressure and opposition pressing, but he has always been able to find a way out of trouble.

He never panics when in possession, and he rarely gives the ball away as he always manages to find one of his team-mates no matter what scenario the midfielder is in when receiving the ball to his feet.
