Birmingham City have certainly made their mark on the Championship so far this season, and are starting to creep slowly towards the play-off places.

Blues fans are dreaming of a return to the Premier League and they have every right to, with the side looking like a completely different team compared to previous seasons.

Garry Monk's side are now unbeaten in ten league games, and are more importantly just two points off the play-off positions.

Their good run of form has been largely down to the strike partnership of Che Adams and Lucas Jutkiewicz, who have been Birmingham's main outlet for goals this season and Monk will be hoping he can keep hold of his strike duo for the rest of the season.

Birmingham will be hoping they can continue this excellent run of form when they travel to Derby to face Frank Lampard's side at the weekend.

But what words could we use to sum up Birmingham's October?

Find out here....

The statistics don't lie.

With Monk's side unbeaten in their last ten leagues games, and having won four games in a row, they couldn't have wished for a better October.

It was a faultless month, in which they will look to build on as the busy festive period rapidly approaches and Monk will be confident of his side being in the promotion chasing pack heading towards the end of the year.

Monk's side are in an excellent run of form and any Birmingham fan has every reason to be slightly optimistic and to dream of a return to the Premier League this season.

Che Adams and Lucas Jutkiewicz has netted 13 goals between them this season and they are an exciting partnership that Championship defences will be fearing when they come up against the pair.

Not many fans would have had Birmingham in their predictions to challenge the top six, but they have proved their doubters wrong this season.

With Monk's side unbeaten in ten games, they have roared into contention for the play-off positions, and whilst they are on this good run of form, it seems difficult to stop them.

If they can continue this excellent run, then they will no doubt be in the play-off positions by the end of November.
