With Wolves currently languishing ten points below the play-off places after a topsy-turvy campaign which promised so much more, Kenny Jackett will be tempted to dip into the loan market to make temporary acquisitions.

Star player Benik Afobe joined the riches of the Premier League after completing his move to Bournemouth and in his absence the club have only been able to win one game in 5 - losing their grip on the promotion-chasing pack ahead of them.

Afobe was criticised for not giving his all in performances by Wolves, following his move as the disharmony at the club intensified after a disappointing season.

Joe Mason has been brought in from Cardiff but fans are still angry at the board for failing to use the money from the Afobe sale, to bring in an out-and-out striker who would consistently bang in the goals for the Molineux outfit.

Mason could still prove to be a hit to be for Wolves but is more likely to be utilised by Jackett in an attacking midfield role to support Sigurdarson or Le Fondre.

West Ham are enjoying one of their most successful Premier League seasons, as they are currently lying in sixth place just two points behind Louis van Gaal's Manchester United.

Slaven Bilic has transformed the fortunes of the East London club who will be hoping that they can nab a spot in the Europa League come May.

With one eye on the present, Bilic will no doubt also have one eye on the future and will be looking to ship out some of his players to the Championship so that they can gain some valuable first-team experience.

Reece Oxford

Reece Oxford

When 16-year-old Reece Oxford was picked by Slaven Bilic to start in West Ham's opening game at the Emirates against Arsenal many fans were left bewildered at his inclusion.

However the youngster justified his place in the starting XI by helping the Hammers to a surprising 2-0 win, and achieving a pass accuracy of 95% - the highest of any player on the pitch that day.

After this highly-rated performance the rumour mill churned out stories of teams who were reportedly keen to sign up England's latest new piece of talent - with Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly both interested.

Despite his impressive start to his professional career which got everyone talking, he has only appeared in 4 games since, with his last appearance incidentally coming in a 1-0 win over Wolves in the FA Cup.

He is unlikely to be involved in many more games for the rest of the season and Bilic would be wise to let the youngster go out on loan and ply his trade regularly in the Championship.

Oxford is versatile enough to slot into the defence or occupy a defensive midfield position. With Williamson and Baath likely to be first-choices in defence, Jackett could find a spot for Oxford in his midfield.

Kevin McDonald is the only player who seems to be a guaranteed a place in the Starting XI, so there's no reason why Oxford can't come in and challenge the likes of Conor Coady and George Saville for a place in the centre of midfield.

There's no doubt that this England under-17 star has heaps of potential, but at 17-years-old he still has an awful lot to learn and there's no better place to learn than in the tough league that is the Championship.

Joey O'Brien

A stalwart of the West Ham defence - Joey O'Brien has been with the East London club for five years and is just nine shy of completing a century of games for the Hammers.

However with the competitions for places getting fiercer in the last couple of seasons, O'Brien has fallen considerably out of favour after suffering an injury at the start of the season

This season, he has been limited to featuring only in cup competitions after 5 Europa League appearances and 2 FA Cup appearances.

The Irish defender started for the first time this season and managed 83 minutes before being substituted in his side's 2-1 extra-time FA Cup win over Liverpool.

He will now be hoping to make his way back into the side regularly but faces stern competition with the likes of Carl Jenkinson, Sam Byram and Winston Reid ahead of the 29-year-old in Bilic's plans.

O'Brien desperately needs to improve his match fitness if he is to feature in an Irons shirt and a spell out on loan in the Championship could be just the tonic for him to achieve this.

Wolves usually start promising youngster Dominic Iorfa in the right-back slot but he can be sometimes be criticised for going too far forward and leaving a gaping hole at the back.

If O'Brien were to come in on loan he would keep the youngster on his toes and Jackett would surely have no hesitation in installing him in the team, if Iorfa did slip up.

Nikica Jelavic

Nikica Jelavic

The Croatian has only been at the Boleyn Ground since September, but has struggled to nail down a place in the starting XI due to the plethora of striking talent available at the club.

He has scored only one Premier League in 13 appearances for the Hammers after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by under Slaven Bilic.

However Jelavic could soon escape his Upton Park nightmare with a £4m move to China reportedly on the cards.

Nevertheless should a deal for the experienced 30-year-old collapse, Bilic might let the Croatian international go out on loan to prove his worth and gain some regular game time.

Wolves are currently short in the striking department with Nouha Dicko and Michal Zyro both injured so Jackett would appreciate having Jelavic in the ranks to provide competition for Bjorn Sigurdarson, Adam Le Fondre and Joe Mason.

Do you agree with the 3 players chosen? Do you think that these players could add something to Kenny Jackett's squad and prove useful for the remainder of the season?
