West Bromwich Albion continue to lead the way in the Sky Bet Championship table, as we prepare to head into the third international break of the campaign.

The Baggies have enjoyed a hugely impressive start to the season under Slaven Bilic, and certainly look like finishing right up there come the end of the season.

After a 1-0 win on the road against Hull City last time out, Albion sit two points clear at the summit of the league table, having lost just one of their opening 16 league matches this term.

Having netted 29 times already this season, there is very little for the Baggies to improve on, but you would still expect Slaven Bilic to add fresh faces to his squad in the January transfer window.

Clearing the deadwood and getting rid of players who aren't exactly in Bilic's plans will be beneficial in doing so, and there will be some players who will be questioning their future at The Hawthorns heading into the window.

Here, we take a look at three players who should be considering their future at The Hawthorns...

Rekeem Harper

Harper was an influential player for Albion as they reached the play-off semi-finals last term, making 23 appearances in all competitions under Darren Moore and Jimmy Shan.

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic were both reportedly eyeing up his signature on a free transfer at the end of the season, but the young midfielder put pen to paper on a new deal at The Hawthorns.

But the homegrown star has since fallen out of favour under Bilic, and he has made only two appearances this term, failing to feature since the start of August.

With January looming, he needs to consider whether he should follow Sam Field's path and potentially leave on loan.

Dara O'Shea

O'Shea is another young player who should be looking to make a temporary exit in January.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a hugely impressive spell out on loan at League Two side Exeter City last term, making 32 appearances for Grecians in all competitions.

But the young defender is yet to be given a proper chance under Bilic, making only one appearance this season which came in the Carabao Cup defeat to Millwall.

A loan move to a League One side could be beneficial for his development, and this is something that he should look to consider.

Jonathan Bond

Bond has found game-time hard to come by at Albion since arriving from Reading last summer.

The 26-year-old has made just four senior appearances for the Baggies thus far, all of which coming in cup competitions.

With Sam Johnstone enjoying an impressive campaign, it's highly unlikely that Bond will break into the starting line-up anytime soon, and he needs to be considering his future.

The Baggies could afford to let him go even on a temporary basis, with Ali Al-Habsi a more than adequate back-up option.
