West Bromwich Albion have enjoyed an excellent start to the season under Slaven Bilic, with the Baggies having secured six successive wins to establish themselves firmly amongst the automatic promotion places.

The Baggies' success has largely been built around a solid spine, which has seen Bilic’s side manage to score the most amount of goals in the Championship so far this campaign with 41 scored in their opening 20 matches, while they have also been solid enough to lose just one league game so far this term.

Given West Brom have been so strong so far this campaign, it has proven a challenge for a couple of the players in and around their squad to force their way into Bilic’s side during the opening months of the season, which could leave some of them potentially needing to go out on loan in the winter window to get regular game time.

Here then, we take a look at THREE West Brom players that could benefit from a loan move in the winter window…

Rekeem Harper

Rekeem Harper enjoyed somewhat of a breakthrough campaign at the Hawthorns last season with the midfielder making 17 appearances in the Championship for the Baggies, and helping them mount a push for promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

However, the 19-year-old has found his game time limited so far this campaign under Bilic, with West Brom bringing in the likes of Romaine Sawyers, Matheus Pereira and Filip Krovinovic in the summer, which has seen him fall down the pecking order and be limited to just one league appearance so far.

That suggests that Harper could well benefit from being loaned out in the January transfer window, and there will likely be a number of lower half Championship sides and some League One teams, who would be interested in bringing him in and giving him regular minutes.

West Brom through the decade: How much do you remember about the 2010/11 season?

Dara O'Shea

O’Shea is another one of West Brom’s promising young players who could benefit from being loaned out during the January transfer window, with the 20-year-old having been limited to just one appearance in the League Cup so far this term.

The Baggies have some very strong options at centre half, with summer signing Semi Ajayi forming an effective partnership with Kyle Bartley do far this term, while Bilic’s side also have both Ahmed Hegazi and Nathan Ferguson to call upon for cover at the heart of their defence.

That makes it unlikely that O’Shea will be able to force his way into the side during the rest of the campaign, meaning a loan move away could be the ideal chance for him develop his game further before looking to impress again at the Hawthorns next season.

Jack Fitzwater

Another one of West Brom's young defenders that could benefit from a loan spell away from the Hawthorns is Fitzwater, who gained some valuable first team experience during a loan spell with Walsall last campaign, making 21 appearances for the club.

Given the form of Ajayi and Bartley, as well as Bilic being able to call upon Hegazi, it is very unlikely that the 22-year-old will be able to get much game time during the rest of the season at the Hawthorns, and the centre-back will be needing to gain more experience if he is going to have a chance of breaking into West Brom's first team.

The defender has yet to make his first team debut for West Brom, but he has been in good form for the club's u23s so far this season, and he would be a useful addition for a number of sides in League One and Two.
