West Brom have enjoyed a superb season so far and they lead the way in the Championship as we approach the final months of the season.

Slaven Bilic deserves huge credit for the work he has done at The Hawthorns as he inherited a squad that had lost several key players but smart recruitment, combined with his excellent man-management has put Albion top of the pile.

However, whilst the overall feeling surrounding the club has to be positive, there are clear issues in the Baggies game - which was evident as they lost to Wigan in the league and Newcastle in the FA Cup in their past two fixtures.

So, the Croatian boss knows he has work to do to ensure the side get even better moving forward and here we look at THREE flaws Bilic will need to address no matter what division Albion are in...

They need a goalscoring striker

Hal Robson-Kanu is West Brom's top scorer this season with ten goals in the league, which just isn't good enough.

In fairness, he brings more to the team with his all-round play but it's quite clear Albion need a more prolific option in the final third, particularly if they won promotion.

More mobility in midfield

The defeat against Newcastle in the week was tough for Gareth Barry and Chris Brunt as the duo simply couldn't live with the visitors pace and energy in midfield.

It's understandable given their age and with both out of contract in the summer, it seems unlikely they will stay and the boss will know he needs to find younger, more mobile players to play backup to Jake Livermore and Romaine Sawyers.

QUIZ: Do you know what these 13 ex-West Brom players are doing now?

Keeping clean sheets

Albion are the best team in the league yet they don't have a prolific number nine and they also struggle to keep clean sheets! It's very unusual.

But, this is a big problem for Bilic - particularly at The Hawthorns where they have recorded just two shutouts. That has to change.
